I'm a former marine biologist turned digital creative who's passionate about helping authors and small business owners build an authentic, memorable online presence.
My journey started with my bookstagram, @thewhimsygal, where sharing my love of books sparked a passion for content creation. That passion inspired me to complete a software engineering bootcamp, where I discovered how much I loved building websites and bringing brands to life. It started with building websites for family and friends. Before long, those same people were asking me to help with their social media too, and what began as a few creative projects quickly grew into a whole new career.
Today, I help authors and entrepreneurs feel confident showing up online through websites, social media, and branding. I know how overwhelming marketing can feel when you're just starting out, so my goal is to make the process simple, approachable, and empowering.
When I created my own brand, I knew flowers had to be part of it. I've always loved flowers, but they also represent exactly why I do this: helping businesses grow, bloom, and become something they're proud to share.
When I'm not designing websites or creating content, you'll probably find me reading fantasy and romance novels, exploring cozy bookstores and cafés, spending time outdoors, or traveling with my husband and our two pups.
